ONLINE QUALIFIER

This online qualifier is exclusively for German dancers who wish to qualify for the German Championship.

Please note: participation in this online qualifier does not provide a direct qualification pathway to the European Championship. It is intended solely as an additional qualification opportunity for the German Championship.

The competition will not be streamed online, and no feedback or judges’ reports will be provided. Therefore, an entry fee of €2.50 per dance will be charged.

However, the names of the dancers who participated and successfully qualified for the German Championship will be announced online.

Registration opens at 12:00 PM. Emails sent earlier will not be considered. Please note: due to high demand,
it may take up to one week to receive a response.

RULES

• Your solo, duo/trio, or team in the video submission must consist of the same participants who were registered.

• The video must be filmed in landscape (horizontal) format.

• Your video submission must contain a recent, complete choreography in the style/category in which you will compete at the European Championships.

• The maximum video length is the same as for regular competitions:

  • Solo and Duo/Trio: 2 minutes

  • Team: 3 minutes

• Always film in landscape (horizontal) format.

• Make sure that all dancers are visible in the recording.

• Ensure that the music is clear and loud enough and that the video is of good quality. It is permitted to add the music to the video during editing. However, only adding the original music to the performance is allowed.

• The video must be recorded in one continuous shot. Editing the video itself is not permitted.

• Place your camera on a tripod to ensure a stable recording.

• Make sure the background is clean and uncluttered.

• Always film from the front.
