Gala & Workshops
Your entry ticket includes access to the Gala and participation in all workshops. No pre-registration for the workshops is required.
Competition Schedule Information:
Unfortunately, we cannot inform participants in advance on which specific day they will compete.
Our event uses preliminary rounds, and before registrations close, we do not know whether a category will have two preliminary rounds and a final, or only a final. This depends entirely on the number of dancers who register and/or qualify. If each participant only danced once, scheduling would be much simpler, but unfortunately our competition format does not work that way.
For this reason, all dancers must keep all event days available until the schedule has been finalized.
To ensure that dancers make the most of their time at the event, we offer a wide range of free workshops each day (approximately 5–6 workshops daily). This means that even if a dancer is not competing on a particular day, there are still plenty of opportunities to learn, train, and enjoy the event.
Team Categories
Teams up to and including U15 are scheduled across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
U18 and Over 18 teams are scheduled across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Solo and Duo/Trio Categories
At this stage, solo and duo/trio dancers do not yet have a fixed competition day.
We can only begin creating the competition schedule after registration closes on 19 April, when we know the number of participants in each category. We aim to send the first draft schedule to all participants no later than 23 April.
Because participant numbers are unknown until registrations close, we are unfortunately unable to provide an exact timetable beforehand. Requesting the schedule earlier will therefore not result in additional information.
We kindly ask all participants to be patient and to keep all event dates available. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Dance Stars European Championship takes place this season May 6th to May 9th, 2027.
We hope to announce the exact location soon.

TEAMS: ROUNDS / GENERAL LOOK / FINALE
With 7 or fewer entries, there will be a General Look and everyone will dance the Final. NEW! The General Look will count for 30% of the final score. The final round will therefore count for 70%.
With more than 7 entries, preliminary rounds are scheduled. In First Round, the judges choose 4 dances that go straight to the Final, the remaining dances a Second Round. Of these, 3 more dances go through to the Final. In a Final, there are always 7 (or fewer) dances.
SOLO/DUO SHOWCASE: ROUNDS / GENERAL LOOK / FINALE
In case of more than 10 Entries, Preliminary Rounds are scheduled. In First Round, the jury chooses 4 dances that go directly to the final, the remaining dances a Second Round. Of these, 3 more dances go through to the Final. In a Finale, 7 dances then dance. With fewer than 10 entries, there is a direct final and there is also no general look. Note! Only 7 dances will receive awards during the awards.
REGULAR SOLO/DUO:
With fewer than 7 entries, there is only a direct final. With 7 to 12 participants, there will be a prelim, of which 7 will advance to the Final. With 13 participants or more, preliminary rounds are scheduled. In First Round, the jury chooses 4 dances that go directly to the final, the remaining dances a Second Round. Of these, 3 more dances go through to the Final. In a Finale then 7 dances dance.

Your entry ticket includes access to the Gala!
However, you will need to pay for any drinks and snacks you order during the gala yourself.
For qualification to enter the European Championships, please check the qualifier rules of your own country.
If you don't have a qualifying competition or National Championship in your country, you can apply for the European Championship of Dance Stars through a virtual qualifier. Please deliver the video via our own WeTransfer https://dancepromotions.wetransfer.com no later than April 5 2027.
